The biggest sleeper of the year, for most Local Rabbits' fans I guess this is too "mature" for them. Although most Rabbits fans are married, have kids and are listening to adult pop. Playful 80's synthbob (sic) abounds on this disc and, surprisingly, it works. Add to the mix Gunning's stellar vocal performance... and Elvis Costello-style twisty lyricism and you have an exciting, soulful debut on your hands.
